Detroit Pistons (2012–2020)
Drummond announced that he’ll forgo his remaining three years of college eligibility and enter the 2012 NBA Draft. He was thus picked by the Detroit Pistons in the first round as its ninth overall pick. In his first season in the NBA, Drummond had a good performance, recording an average of 7.9 points and 7.6 rebounds. He was also named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
