Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born on July 7, 1981, as one of three children to his parents Prem Kohli and Devaki Devi, in the Indian province of Jharkhand formerly called Ranchi, Bihar. His father, Prem Kohli worked in various junior levels precisely under management in the Indian engineering firm, MECON.
As a young boy, MS Dhoni has always been interested in cricket. He admired ex cricket player, Adam Gilchrist. MS Dhoni attended Jawahar Vidya Mandir, a public school in India. At the school, he excelled at various sports such as badminton and football. As a result, he was chosen to represent his school for various tournaments held in the district.
