Brock Lesnar’s wrestling exploits attracted the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), who signed him in 2000. He was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) where he and his college roommate, Shelton Benjamin won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship. In March 2002, Brock Lesnar debuted in the WWF. One hundred twenty-six days after his debut, Lesnar defeated The Rock to become the youngest WWE Undisputed Champion at 25. His championship win was the second-fastest for a WWE wrestler after his debut.

After multiple attempts to win another championship, Lesnar claimed the WWE Universal Championship and the WWE Championship to become the first wrestler ever. After 504 days of holding on to the Universal Championship, he lost the title to Roman Reigns. In July 2019, Lesnar defeated Seth Rollins to win the WWE Universal Championship but lost the title after 28 days. He then went on to defeat Koffi Kingston to win the WWE Championship, marking his fifth win. His championship reign was ended in April 2020 by Drew McIntyre
