Patrick Mahomes II was born on 17 September 1995 to Pat Mahomes (father) and Randi Martin (mother) at Tyler, Texas. His father Pat used to be a major league baseball player.
Mahomes attended Whitehouse high school, Smith County, Texas. He started as a baseball player in high school and was a top prospect who was thought to be following in his father’s footsteps being that his father played baseball until 2009 after ranking as high as no. 25 in 1992. Mahomes was ranked 419 among prospects in 2014 when he came out of high school and was very passionate about American football even though at the time he could play basketball too.
