Von was born in the year 1989 on March 26. He was born to his parents Von and Gloria Miller, who were both athletes in high school before they got married but later owned a power supply business. Desoto High School
Von attended Desoto High School, and there he participated in different track and field games like high jump, triple jump, javelin throws, and most notably, he joined the DeSoto Eagles Football Team. In his junior year, he had 37 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss and 12 quarterback hurries in his Junior year. He finished as the No. 15 weak side of the defensive end in the country. Texas A&M University
Von committed to the A&M University of Texas in 2006 and began playing with the football team of the A&M University of Texas.
