Cody Bellinger (born July 13, 1995) is an American professional baseball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). 

He is the son of the ex-professional baseball player Clay Bellinger. 

Bellinger was drafted back in 2013 in the fourth round of the MLB draft by the Dodgers. However, it wasn’t until 2017 before he made his professional debut.

Prior to making his MLB debut, Bellinger played in the Pioneer League and recorded a hit of .328 in 46 games. The following year he was selected to the mid-season California League all-star team and post-season all-star team. 

He was impressive in his performance that year, which saw him earned an invitation to Dodgers spring training in 2016. 

For the 2016 season, he played for the Double-A Tulsa Drillers in Texas League, where he recorded .263 hit with 23 homers, 59 walks, and 65 RBIs in 114 games and got promoted to the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers. 

The 2017 season saw him begin to play with Oklahoma City. Still, midway into the year, he got his first call up to the major league, the beginning of an incredible professional career. 

On April 25, 2017, he made his MLB debut.
